In Type: Insert Special Character you can insert auto page numbering.
Can you add something for the total number of pages in the doc?
So I can have a footer which says:
Page 4 of 25 (or whatever), without having to type 25?!
Silly question I know...

I should have stated that I want it on a master page so it flows through the whole doc.
I haven't got a problem typing them in manually if I have to, but there must be a way?!
Thanks for your help Stewart by the way :)

why not just have your auto page number, then put a place holder until you have the page count set, and put that number on the master page eh? so it's just A of 25. am i making sense?
