CMYK to RGB

I got a web layout from an agency specializing in print. The files are in CMYK colour mode. Is there a way to convert them to default rgb profile without losing actual colours? I've been trying for some time, and the colours get washed out, looks like my safest bet would be to make screenshots and paste them into a blank RGB file.
Any hints?..

I have no problem converting it to adobe rgb, but how do I safely drop the color profile then? Of web browsers only Opera uses profile information.. (possibly Safari does too)

use web graphics default color profile?

Web graphics defaults to display profile afair..
Worked when I switched my display profile to sRGB.. This is why I never got into print work, hate that stuff!!

Thanks Rand.
Anyone has a link to a good article on that? I hate it when you design something in a profile and then the colours look different on a website.
Is sRGB IEC.. really the default web profile?

When I'm saving for web the only way I don't lose saturation is to have photosohop set to the srgb profile before opening the graphic
