Make an announcment on the loud speaker instead?

add a linky in the eBlast that would be the easiest.

Hey blastofv
listmessenger.com can do that, but no tracking
sendstudio.com so can these guys, but it costs a bit.
I run a copy of sendstudio on my server and use it for my clients email marketing.
drop me an email if u want more details on either of those apps...i use both of them

(Sep 18 06, 11:56)I tried to tell them that was the way to go, but there are miles of beurocratic garbage in the way of getting that done. hosting the attachment info that is. it'd take weeks to get a folder set up to host a PDF!

yeah, i've done it and it was a pain.
I used netscape's mail program, (it was a couple years ago and at that time, it included the images in the mail, not linked). Loaded the email list, created the html email and added the attachment. I had to do it in waves, because the ISP would only send so many per five minutes or something. Plus, all the emails I've sent I get about 30% read rate. The rest just get deleted.
but it was pretty much a manual process. Just make sure you can bcc the email to a list with 1 click.

thanks joyride – sounds like a hassle. I use Campaign Monitor now, but I'm pretty sure they don't have anything built in...I was hoping someone else would have built a system for this by now...
