Ok I need to get new glasses, Ive had glasses since 4th grade now its hip to look like a nerd, so im finally fitting in, but I also dont want to look like all the other hipsters wearing frames just to wear them, that and i look alot like the verizon "can you hear me know" guy, but just wondering if you wear glasses are you wearing generic or designer frames ?

e-pill told me flea markets are a good place to look for classic designer frames.

I've been wearing "shop teacher galsses" for 15 years and people still ask me if they're prescription or I'm just trying to be a hipster.
I've tried contacts but can't stick my finger in my eye with out blinking. I can't even used Visine or keep my eyes open for flash photography.
What about Lasik? I'm still horried that in 50 years it will make people blind.

I got a $10 pair of sunglasses from target and had a friend at an optical lab make some lenses for them.

my sunglasses are titanium. i recommend it for the clumsy individual. you can practically tie them in a knot and they snap right back to their original shape

I really like the IC BERLIN!!!
Do you find its more expensive to have them cut custom lenses into your frames then if you just pick out a designer frame from the storefront ?

I ripped out Dr C Everett Koop's eyes and tried those, but his are worse than mine were, so now I wear his glasses.
