I just put a security deposit down on a place that has 30 by 40 foot deck.
My first purchase will be a fucking huge grill, and I will learn how to cook everything from the BBQ thread, that I've saved in text files locally, haha.
Maybe we should write a book, or make a site like "NT: Cookbook (OMGWTFBBQ!)"

the best thing ever is corn on the cob, grilled over charcoal in their husks... a little butter, salt, pepper (or a tapas place near me adds sharp cheese)... and then cava... a perfect meal!

I might suffer from maize fixation... but there is a particularly wooing recipe in the nyt sunday fashion supplement/magazine... for stone ground, milk-simmered grits.
I read it this morning and I thought of this thread, or, more generally thought, now that is a great idea for enticing a lovely lady over for brunch and showing off a lad's panache.
not that I am trying to be a chatty busy body, exchanging bundt cake recipes and love life advice.
