Ive been using an Agfa Snapscan for 5 years, and a broken HP Printer for 2.
Id like to upgrade.. what are the best printers and scanners for print designers? (freelance work mostly)

There are alot of cheap but reliable scanners out there I recently had to purchase a new scanner when my Umax broke down, I got a nice canon scanner for 200$

for personal printers, Epson is the best... nice, sharp color, and cheap.
a scanner is a scanner is a scanner, unless you need to do real hi-res work. if that's the case, it won't be cheap.
ps... my "cheap" scanner is an epson, too.
