I'd still go with a twist on a mosaique, reflecting the variety of organisations they work with. That may even be why they chose the name(?).
The "obvious" can be made unique through good execution.

good stuff bville... i like 6 a lot but would worry it might look a bit too young/technical/fash ionable for their audience? but it's hard to get away from a technical treatment because of the "building blocks" nature of what they do.
what do you know about the intended audience?

(Sep 11 06, 04:02)i don't think building blocks is the essence here, i can see your point, building an image out of pieces.. for that matter you are correct. but it needs to be taken one step further: they will consult for many different kinds of charities, of different colour and size so to speak, all these charities however have one objective, creating a better world, and that is where unity comes in.
so you'll guess where this should go to..
i like the matisse example, it does communicate the things i just said. mosaic is certainly not necessarily perceived as equally sized building blocks, and with this in mind it'd be good to reflect the different sizes in which the charities operate..

i'd have to agree with #6 as well (out of the ones provided at least). i thought the other ones were rather obvious solutions, but this one is a bit different since it takes you "up close and personal" with a mosaic, just like you were standing 1" away from a pointillism painting.
