there was an article in the latest issue of print about this new "psycaledelic" movement in work recently. while they did not list no pattern or electric heat by name, they had a list of contemporaries and showed some work.
it seems to be the new trend and was born out of a response against the more flat corporate styles of a couple years ago.
it will be interesting to see how these artists' work will evolve, as no doubt a backlash against this style leading to another cannot be that far off. perhaps a return to more restraint and formality.
