I have a spred in my master page for our products. When I pull the left page down from the master page it is taking a box from the right side of the spread with it. Why is it doing that and how do get it from doing that....it's not grouped.

is it overlapping onto the page you're taking with it?
it'll take objects that run over onto the other page of the spread.

got it....also is there a way to set up a master page that you editable?

select the page/spread in the page palette and hit command option shift L

Press Shift+ctrl and click on the master element you want to edit when you're on the page you want to edit it on. That pulls it out of the master page and onto your working page.
