Yeah, I don't mind it. Would like to see your work bigger. Seems like alot of graphics and wizzy stuff when all I want to see your work. your portfolio should stand out, at the moment the site is primary.
It's also not obvious that you have to click the image to view more work.

you've got a big peice of flash on the screen... but you're filling it with tiny work?
I agree w/dancer - lose the blippy-ness of the flash... let the work take center stage and make it much much much much bigger. :)
