Ive got to make a quick decision! Imac 20 inch. 2ghz, 250gig hard drive.
Or Mac mini, 1.67, 80gig (both dual intel) Ill get a 20' cinema display with this one.
Any thoughts? I am torn.

I was pretty much making the exact decision a few months back and went with a 20" imac.
No regrets whatsoever. Faster processor, more ram capacity (i think) larger HD. Less desktop hardware and less wires.
iMacs are beautiful.
Although there is a rumour they are releasing faster mac minis and possibly a 23" iMac on the 12th September.
So possibly wait till then?

The imac will be faster and more upgradeable for Ram. It is faster because the Hard Drive runs at Higher RPMs also.
The one benefit of get the mac mini and 20 inch, is that if you want to upgrade computers, you can still use your monitor.
If you want to upgrade the imac, you pretty much need to sell the whole thing and buy a whole new monitor/computer setup.

Oh, and be sure to check out Apple Referb Certified section.
Go here. http://www.apple.com/store/
Scroll down and click on the BIG RED SAVE TAG on the right
They have the 20 inch duo:
Original price: $1,699.00
Your price: $1,399.00I have only bought refrebs from apple, they are great, and come with the same warrenty and software as a new one. And you can even buy the extended warrenty still with them. Their warrenty is great, covers pretty much anything... except if you like spill water in the machine etc.
Most referbs are just returns not even opened. If somebody returns a computer, it has go be marked referb. So pretty much you are safe buying these.
