hey everyone, i have a vector drawing here and i am trying to find out if there is a way to view all the color swatches that are used int he drawing. any ideas how? (i auto traced the image in flash and imported to illustrator)Also wondering if there is a way to seperate the colors onto different layers instead of doing it manually.
thanks in advance

Select > Same > Fill Color
Then send tehm to a new layer.
...but if those colors were auto generated, even a 1% diff in any color variable will not allow it to be selected. Give it a shot tho, what have ya got to lose.

there's a nifty lil magic wand in cs2 (cs also?)... for quick selecting of the same color

I know in Illy CS2, if you live trace an image, you can select the "save to swatches" option. But if you traced in Flash, then chances are you aren't on Illy CS2.

yea, i was trying to not have to use the select>same>fill, and like someone already said, it won't select a 1% difference. oh well, just another reason i have to get CS at home.
