Just got pulled over for speeding. My license was expired by 2 weeks, and according to Cali law, that means the vehicle has to be impounded.
Now I have to renew my license, pay for the tow truck that took my car, pay the speeding ticket, go to the police station to prove that I got my license renewed, and go get my truck. On foot.

fucking rules, too much bullshit in LA
i got pulled over speeding in kansas w/ a suspended license and the cop followed me home so i could drop off the truck before he took me to jail, just to avoid the impounding
sorry bout your luck, and knowing cali laws and prices, it's going to cost too much just to get that all sorted.
can you even get you license renewed without making an appointment?

That fucking sucks.

The cop told me it was because the department is being watched by the feds b/c of all the racial profiling BS. So now they have to do everything by the books. Understandable.
I'm not sure about the appointment thing. I'm about to find out, I guess.
This fucking blows.

yay monday!
*blows brains out*
i'm off to the DMV.
KEEP YOUR LICENSES VALID IF YOU LIVE IN LA!!!

That's terrible, but the good news is I just saved a lot on my car insurance.

Same thing happened to me...but for having expired plates. I wasn't even speeding. I let my tags go for a while because I couldnt get my car to pass smog. The whole mess ended up costing me about $1200...getting my car out of the impound, and the work required to get it to pass smog. Yeah, then having to sit at the DMV for like 6 hours...that was great.
To avoid most hassles at the DMV get a AAA membership, you can get tags, and do most stuff through them. Its a waaaaay better experienve then the actual DMV.

that's where (some) women have an advantage.
I imagine having dusty knees and a rotten mouth isn't such a bad thing in Cali.too bad for guys though (unless you're a cop)
