I was there last year, it really depends what you are into.
100% Design was an interiors trade show that had some great product.
100% East was an indy design show that I quite enjoyed. DesignersBlock was close to that and was good, but more arty. 100% East is on brick lane, so get some curry and there are some great shops there...
Trafalgar Square had a Tom Dixon Instalation that was pretty cool, apparently he's giving away free chairs this year.
I saw a Geoff McFettoridge show there last year...
Be sure to go to the design Museum...
There are over a hundred venues so I just wondered around and stumbled into a bunch of events at gallerys and shops and department stores.
There was a magazine that printed a guide to the festival, I picked one up and picked the events that I had to see.
Have fun, I am very jealous of you. I think I'll go again next year.

I forget the name of the magazine but they were all over the design festival events last year, so hopefully they'll be doing it again this year.
