(Aug 22 06, 10:24)Haha, that's Rebecca Gayheart. I'm glad she has a starring role again, finally. She ran over some little kid a few years back and hasn't been able to stay in shows for too long.

argh!! i taped the prison break but didnt have the vcr on the correct channel and all i got was static...but we watched vanished and got bored of it...the thought of that fbi dude as an enforcer just dont cut it knowing he was on that "other" show for boys.

Basically I ruin shows for myself because I think, 'Well, I guess they can't just escape in the first episode, or during the bothced saving of the kid in the 2nd thinking, 'They would never let this happen with 10 more shows left.'
Then I get pissed when I'm rite. :X

they're OUT... it's no longer a Prison Break... and the storylines are DUMB now... at least in jail - things were suspensful... now it's just lame...
... and what's up with the addicted cop who's now taken on the case?

Okay, I finally got on the bandwagon and watched every episode (season 1, plus the first 6 that have aired from season 2).
I agree that there's less suspense now that everyone is out of prison but it's still pretty good. I think it's going to be tough to top the 1st season. That was one reason why Fox almost didn't sign it up for their network - because they didn't think it could be like their other hit show, 24, and because they thought it would be boring after everyone escaped.
Still, though, a show like this deserves its hype because it lives up to it.
Also, Wentworth Miller is HOT.

By the way, here's some trivia from episode 1x10 : Sleight of Hand:
"The phone number on Michael's arm breaks the "555" exchange rule.
Inserting an actual phone number into a television show is something new producers are doing to promote their show. Thus far it has been used by Gilmore Girls, with Scott Pattersoon on the other end asking for donations to a charity. Supernatural, with Jenson Ackels in character as Dean Winchester advising people to leave a message if it was an emergancy, and 24. The number from the 24 episode belonged to a member of the crew.
In the case of Prison Break the number leads to a voicemail with a heavily accented women's voice on the other end. Probably his wife from the next episode. The message a caller hears is this.
“Hello, only one person has this number, so Michael I hope you're okay, if you're getting this message then it might mean that I’m not. When this is over you still have one more thing left to do. I’m trusting you, Michael to do it. Be safe.”
Unfortunately the mail box is full."

it's just the hole concept of the series that is so damn predictable
there is always something that goes wrong at the right time so the show can continue forever, Shows like that bores the hell out of me. Lost is just the same.
Stories like that are much better told in a 2 hour movie.

I sort of agree since I know what you mean. But at least it's not the exact same thing as a soap opera, because those definitely follow the outline of having a new problem before the previous problem is finished. Still, I think with Prison Break it's clever enough to avoid too much cliche. Except for the FBI agent. He is extremely cliche with his little drug problem and obsession with Michael just because he couldn't catch the other guy :Z
I watched all 27 episodes of this show in 2.5 days. Basically I've just been doing essays for school and watching Prison Break, so I'll be more sane now that I'm caught up.
I would definitely recommend watching the entire season at one go if people hate waiting for the next episode. Makes it much easier. Now I see why jevad would want to do that with Lost.

One more thing. Personally I enjoy the planning and twists more than I do the action. Michael's planning was much more incredible in season 1 compared to season 2. I bet they're adding more tattoos to him right now to add more plot.
I did hear that shows such as this one and Lost won't be going on for more than 3-5 seasons because of how there is only so much you can do with a show before it jumps the shark. I really hope it's true that they won't last more than that long.

It's soap actiondrama
But it's a good show that draws a lot of viewers, and hat off for that.
I more the Rescue Me type of guy, really good comedy mixed with drama and crazy chicks. I could watch that show over and over again.

I have just sat through the boxset of series 1 eps1-13
What a load of utter trash. There's not one good bit of acting in the whole show. The secret service can't act, the prisoners can't act, the guards can't act.
Incredible how it's been so popular.
Such naff - but I wish my mate would hurry up and buy the second half of the season boxset so I can watch that asap!!!! ;)
