They definitely bought tickets because of the stadium, but they also have a team that's much improved over the last few years. Leinart, Edge, Rolle, Boldin, Fitzgerald, Dockett...
And FYI, the Toronto Blue Jays were horrible for years, built a new stadium, and won 2 World Series...

No, it's because of the new stadium. Ticket sales always go when a new one opens.
A friend of mine bought about 12k worth of tickets and he's already made a 1/4 of it back after the first game and there's 9 more home games.

Glad to see Eisenman is building again. He was a big influence on my personal work (the first image on my site). I loved his earlier stuff.
He's never been good at picking colors, though. Great at space, bad at colors.
