Actually they are not that evil, they could be used to serve a purpose. For example nt uses them. But there are too many other options out there ,that are not as dated and make more sense usablity/design wise

NT uses them, but it certainly doesn't need to. You can make DIVs scrollable just as easily.
So no, there's really no situation where frames would ever been necessary.

i shud of googled frames b4 i posted this (sorry, searched for frames on the Google Search Engine) -- plenty of frame-bashing there... but its good to know your thoughts. im goin to steer clear :)
