My client wants a logo file that they can insert into an MS Word file (just for use on interntal forms etc, they have proper printed letterheads).
What's the best format for inserting a logo into a Word file? Is it possible to insert a vector into word, so that it prints perfectly. If not should I use a jpeg, tiff, PNG?
thanks in advance!

Maybe make three versions of the logo. Small Medium and Large in Jpeg format. Let them chhosse what looks best for their docs I guess.

I would just give them a JPG.

I've just printed a word doc and a powerpoint doc which each contained a pdf, tiff, png and a jpeg version of the logo.
The tiff looks by far the best.
Although all look shit.

I would insert an EPS file it will look best printed and if they create PDF's from the word doc

I find that PNGs work best in word.
And trust me, I've tried a lot of different file types.

Weirdly I've just managed to insert an eps which prints pertfectly.
However, it appears on screens as a very fuzzy inverted version of the logo.
But prints fine!Oh Word, will you ever do as I wish?
