i had not seen this until now. Disney does not want you to, it's very touchy for them. It was mentioned on TV by an artist but not allowed to be shown on TV, so i Googled it.

interesting.
"Disney does not want you to, it's very touchy for them. "
i think disney can be excused for taking a political stance on something as big as the nazi's.

I was thinking the same thing. But then again, those looney tunes cartoons that told about the japanese from were something else entirely. totally racist towards japanese.

yeah, it's applaudable.
but it's not a political thing for them, just a marketing driven image protection issue.
disney wants to be looked at as a happy and sort of ignorant company..

I don't think it's applaudable either, but Disney in 1945 was something diffirent than Walt Disney production company of today.
from wikipedia:
Shortly after Dumbo was released in October 1941 and became a successful moneymaker, the United States entered World War II. The U.S. Army contracted for most of the Disney studio's facilities and had the staff create training and instructional films for the military, as well as home-front morale-boosting shorts such as Der Fuehrer's Face and the feature film Victory Through Air Power in 1943.
