Martin F. Edmond, whose art is well known in NZ and used on a lot of Illicit brands clothing.
Basically his art has been used in the new Pink video without permission or even acknowledgement. Not cool.
Thoughts?

yea its pretty stink really.
those that comented "its a tribute", if so then why didnt they get in touch with illicit and get it "ok'd" ?
they def need to get paid for that shit, difference between sampling and blatent duplicating of someone else's work without any contact with the creator or estate.
that fact that it is fuckin pop-shit Pink cheapens Martins legacy in my opinion.
R.I.P

does anyone really think Pink had any control over the art direction of the video, or would have any knowledge of that artist? prooooobably not.
blame the art director

Yes, you'd think the managment who control everything to do with the video would have more intellect than to hire someone just off the street or someone with no prior experience and reputation to do their music videos.
Its such a high profile thing that I just find it amazing how someone in that position could so obviously rip off someones ideas in such a big way.
It just takes away all the credibility that art director and production team ever had and puts them with the "I can't think for myself so lets copy something, they'll never know." Surely they must've known it'd come out...
