Best bet is to get a 360 and start saving for an HD TV.
The PS3 is doomed already because of its late arrival and pricey Blu-Ray which is very gimmicky.
If you had to choose 2, I'd say a 360 and a Wii over the PS3.

Looks like I'm heading towards a 360. F' PS2, PS3 and their "we can price this as high as we want" attitude.
What do you guys think I could get for my PS2? It's in great shape. 2 memory cards. 4 controllers (one in the box). Internet adaptor. A bunch of 06 sports games and NCAA Football 07. Plus all the GTA's (but not Liberty City...only the ones that count.)
Thinking of posting it on craigslist, unless anyone here wants it...

I love the competition between xbox and sony, it makes the games fucking crazy. It really all comes down to the game developers.

GTA isn't exclusive this year, as far as I know... But check out Saint's Row for the 360... The demo is on the 360 Marketplace to download.
It's like GTA, but with physics, way better graphics, and the ability to customize everything, including your cars, clothes, body type- even down to the width of your nose... You can also play online. ;)
