a good tattoo artist makes pretty good money. but its unsteady. you never know when people are gonna be getting tattoos or not. right now the industry is huge cause of miami ink (two of my friends are on the show). but due to popularity, there are also a million tattoo artists. so its not in high demand.
so unless you are awesome, you wont be doing all that great.

he worked all over the gaf. not sure exactly where, but he was in his danish homeland for some years. then set up his own studio 'kingscrosstattooing' (in kings cross funnily enough!), which is now closed, so fuck knows what he's doing, he's a bit of an illusive dude.

Did Dan work at Into You ever? I remember his name...or did he work with Lal Hardy..
Regardless his work is top notch

Kona, knows, he has barbed wire and tribal designs over 67% of his body.

If you want to practice brooke, go to a butchers shop and buy large pieces of pig meat, with the skin.
A pigs skin is as close as you're going to get to a humans, so you can tattoo that to practice.
Or, befriend a farmer and tattoo live pigs. Their skin is SO thick they'll never feel the needle so you won't be hurting them, and, the farmer will have designer pigs.
Honestly it doesn't matter if you have the skills, doing it with a needle is TOTALLY different and takes being an intern/apprentice somewhere before you can do it yourself.

you still might have to do a lot of tribal bands and tramp stamps.

I have a few friends who are tattoo artists, for every one truly great tat you do, you do 40 lame ones off of the flash art on the walls of the shop. keep it in mind.

Brooke, I don't think you would be happy tattooing Chicago Bears helmets on biceps.

i interviewed for an apprenticeship a few years back. but i think they got turned-off by my diatribe about how tattoo art needs to evolve beyond sailor jerry bullshit.
