Can somebody help me with a website I'm doing for a friend of mine. Warning, some content is NSFW.
Problem is the intro page does not show up in IE. As much as I dislike IE, we all know a large chunk of the population still uses it. Can someone tell me how to fix? Works fine in Firefox for PC, Opera for PC, and my friend told me it worked fine in Safari. Thanks in advance.

ditch the object embedding in your html and place your Flash content using deconcept's 'swfObject'.
You'll notice Geoff (aka... deconcept) has just releases v. 1.4.4...
... really REALLY easy to implement... you don't have to be a web-guru/developer etc... you just have to 'read' his directions... and BAM... prob solved. :)

Also ... have an intro that goes automatically into the site.
I was sitting there waiting for anything in IE6, then sitting there waiting after the intro in FX.

So thanks to PonyBoy and flavorful for the help/suggestions. But now I have another question: What is the IE CSS work-around for eliminating the gaps that show at the bottom of each image in each div? And the entire "footer" div is also shifted upwards.

So no one knows the answer. You guys aren't as good as I thought. I need new heroes.
