besides NT... what do you do on the web that eats up all your time... (and besides porn, dinky)...
... i can't stop playing chess and poker... and the 'poker' thing has gotten mad-huge lately... $5 tournaments on the half hour that payout nearly 2K in some places...
... anyhow - i'm going to get back to doing nothing.

I wouldn't call poker a time killer as much as a bank account killer.
For as many tournaments I win or place, I get bored so quickly with most of them I try to get out of them as quickly as possible after like a half hour, or throw up two other tables at the same time and end up not paying enough attention to any of them.

i also read the newspapers for my industry: Daily News Record [DNR], Womens Wear Daily [WWD], The New York Times [Style Section]
i also smoke weed: rolled, in a pipe, in a bong, in a steam roller, in a dutch-master cigar, in hemp, in paper, cooked in pastries.
i design action figures for my toy line.

... I think it was a fluke though flavorful... cuz I played two more tournies and barely made the top 200... out of like... 700 players...
although... if you're SUPER patient... I guarantee you'll get in the top 200 everytime...
... you just have to be one of those guys 'who never plays' except when he's got something worth playing with...
... you just gotta hang-in there and not get 'greedy' when yo do decide to bet so you can continue to cover your blinds...
... in these buy-in tournies... you see HUNDREDS of people go out FAST because they're impatient, nothing more... (and I love the re-buy tournies where a person goes out... but can buy back in... increasing your end pot!!... of course - they impatiently knock themselves right back out of the tourny... paying twice!! :)

Yea, I usually place in the top 10/20% in tournies, but they are so fucking boring.
I end up playing 3 tables at once and not paying attention and then doing something stupid because I don't take the time to realise some jerk has been re-raising with nothing, or never playing unless they have a hand, heh.
I was at Caeser's last weekend ready to play in 150 tourney, but as I was sitting, everyone else wanted to eat.
Rutteger Simpson saved his 150 to go eat at Wolfgang Puck's ristorante, heh.
Which ... pretty much needed all of it, accompanied with the drinks I was slamming down before the food came and afterwards, haha.
