Anyone got any constructive criticism of my new logo / layout on my site? I'm not a designer btw...

I'm not sure it's a good idea to overlap your text like that - although I know the second word is 'world', it doesn't immediately leap out at me.
Also not keen on the drop shadowing (feels superfluous) or the particular form of the clock hands - they seem a little big and a bit too 'analogue' for the almost-digital font you've chosen for the logo.

good point Nairn, cheers.
Sorry for not making my link link. How do you do that??

put h t t p : / / in front

i agree with Nairnn, you could do something really nice with the watch hands you have used.
Maybe it doesnt need to overlap or have a dropshadow just simplify it slighly and keep the hands.
Happy playing!

meh - maybe the analogue/digital intertwining isn't such a bad thing - if it isn't - I'd make more out of ...the synergy.
*Ungf!
Hey Rusty, would you know where to get an HP hp-01 calculator watch - and if so, how much?

I'll make you a super web 2.0 logo for this in exchange

Font suits it nicely, I like the way the words are layed out and the clock face on the O works...
But I would flatten the type, remove the vertical overlap and reduce the size of the hands.
Maybe have the orange for retro and world and then have 'the' and '.com' and the watch hands in white.
Getting there though.

heh, designerror - I was looking at that too (not my style, per se - I just like the geek factor).
I'm curious to know how the brand license works for those Commodore 'NOS'.
(I presume that means someone is making new copies from the old design, right?)

If you can throw in a CMS-led website along with the logo you can take your pick man...
Email me if you can.
