what url do you use to get to webmail? is it just webmail.domain.com, or do you have to go through the control panel?
what does webmail look like? is there a screenshot anywhere?
thanks.

It works well enough, but I they charge extra for spam filtering. I am now hosting my email through google and I am loving it. You get the gmail interface for your webmail, it easy to setup and it is free. Everything else with my mediatemple hosting is great though.

their default email is squirrel mail, but I stole Neuarmy's idea and have (mt) forward mail sent to my domain to my Gmail account. Then I respond through Gmail and have it look like it's coming from the domain address they sent it to.

MT uses Squirrel Mail* which can be accessed outwith the control panel using a link such as..
https://ss38.shared.server-syste…
* http://www.squirrelmail.org/ , if you want to see how it looks..

one thing i will say is that I get a fuck load of spam. and i was to pony up a few bucks a month they say they will block it.. but i think they should add the spam block as a package deal

sorts the spam issue too.

for those of you forwarding your mail to gmail I would suggest moving your mail hosting over to them.
it takes a week or so for them to send you an invite, but after that I just needed to change a few settings with MT and I was up and running.

Squirrel Mail is used by many other hosting companies as well. I just forward my messages to my Gmail account.
