i'm really confused as to the main differences between these two. generally from what i hear, shockwave has a more powerful rendering engine than flash, and overall has a deeper set of functioanlity? is this true at all? i know it's more popular for games, meaning there MUST be more going in inside of it.
so is there any reason why most websites (or at least artsy ones) arent in shockwave? id imagine thered be a number of advantages to doing that, then? or is overall browser support the only thing stopping it from being more prominent?
