im clueless when it comes to the print process and im looking for any guidance and tips/suggestions.

i need to make a single custom booklet for a school project. I need custom designed fold outs, cut-outs, and binding...is this something a regular printing place can do?

any tips and tricks for output/print preparation? online tutorials anywhere?

anyone know of good printers in Los Angeles?

finally, how much would the above specs cost me?

    Thanks in advance!

go sit down with a printer. ask to see samples of work they've produced with similar specs to your own project. a good printer rep can be your best friend and they'll be more than happy to educate you on the process because it will make their job easier when it's time to go to press.

    my 2 cents.
