hi, I just realized they're legal now in Europe, so maybe someone can tell me his experience with these things. would be nice to replace the oldf cassette in the car, but i don't know if the quality via radio frequence is good...

depends on where you live, in the city those things are wack.

Not sure what you mean by 'oldf cassette' but there is a cassette adapter for car stereos, or any tape deck.
Maybe this is what you have. Must admit looking at a new[2ndhand] cars that all have CD players I wondered how well these fm things worked

yeah but with a cd player you can't listen to your ipod... unless its a supermodern but freaking ugly cdplayer

i have an iTrip. works quite well but i'm in the mountains and there are very few radio stations. occasionally downtown it'll pop like a... popping popper thing.

I run a iTrip in London (64 billion stations) through the biggest piece of shit stereo I coulnd't pay someone to steal..
And it works really well. The signal is strong and the sound is pretty good. I ended up geting this one plus the power charger.

Only downside is that the connection between the ipod and the itrip is pretty loose.
