Hi, OK this flash movie places a .txt file in a scrolling placeholder. thing is the text is a nightmare to format and I have to do around 60 courses! Does anyone know of a better way to do this, or how to automate it?Here's an example:
Correct text is here

This should correspond with text on home page of flash (above link). In order to get flash to display text like this I have to format it in mad HTML like this
http://www.magma.ie/client/flash…
Where DaTextBox is the variable putting that text in the placeholder. As you can see (if you're still with me!) every single line has to have the htm tags aurrounding it and this can get pretty tedious.Bottom line - Can I get flash to read that original html text without having to format everey single line as above?
Please help I can't face 2 weeks of 12 hour days of there's a better way!!

Thanks Acescence, how would I use CSS? Can you specify CSS in flash that would apply to a text file?

Thanks acescence CSS could be just what I'm looking for! I'm having trouble getting it to work with my scrolling layer though. I'm using a script from actionscript.org that calls the external .txt file from another external .as file, do I put the request for the css in the .as file or in the movie itself? where and how? any help truly appreciated my eyes now popping out of head with tiredness 8)
