If I am going to replace my phone line with something like this i'd rather have a physical cordless phone. It doesn't appear that anything like this is compatable with the MAC. Am I wrong?

yes it is, but i am confused. you have always been able to do this w/ AIM and iChat. or are you saying only on skype is it possible?
