how is it that I have activated a font in fontxplorer but it doesn't appear in Quark, although it does in Illustrator? I have restarted and cleared the font cache's. The font is Dinn and appears to be all intact.
wierdness? any ideas?

s'ok - it's working now after deleting a copy elsewhere (which was inactive anyway.)

I swear that app evolves quirks as it goes along, just to annoy you

It was developed by aliens who infiltrated our planet who are disguised as humans.

you are not wrong. David Icke told me that Quark is developed by lizards.

99% of all Quark files can be opened in Indesign CS2 in case you should have missed it..

The new Microshaft? You kidding? Their apps work. How is Adobe the new Microshaft?
But I do know what you mean.

Adobe dragging it's heels on the Unversal Binary for the Mac is my biggest complaint and could be a sign of more ugliness to come. Quark seems to be bending over backward lately to make things better, but they have a ton of work to do (esp in the realm of goofy font issues) to win the inDesigners back.
