My advice.
Work every day at your job likes it your last day there. By that I mean back up your work after every project and keep it with you.
And don't shit where you eat.

haha...well...i've worked at a sub-sandwich shop for 3 years and I made the best of it. Surely working at a design shop couldn't be worse!
and I learned the not shitting where I eat thing a long time ago.
