They're very friendly at The Roxy. I mean, I guess anyone will be nice to you when you don't call them freaks.

I was planning on putting up a post in the next few weeks, but while you all on the topic I'll ask.
For the designers in portland, how's the market there? I'm planning on relocating from Washington, DC to out west, and my top three choices are SF, PDX & SEA. Any prefs? I hear the market is slowly picking up, but I'm interested in your thoughts.
Thanks in advance!

true story: took some out of towners to the Roxy for breakfest. parked right in front.
About an hour later someone yells "the parade is coming". Everyone left except us to watch the "pride parade". We settled up and when we got to our car it was parked in the parade route. We had to merge into the parade and drive a few block with it. It was like we where in it right behind the dykes on bikes. People waving and blowing kisses. I was having nightmares that we'd be photographed or be on the news.

(Jul 21 06, 12:50)I'm in the SF Bay Area, the job market is a bit more robust here. I fathomed I'd move to Portland once a few months back so I was looking for a while and there's seriously like 5 jobs there.
Oh, and the 'skin problems' was dry skin. Go natural soap.
