i think that's someone knocking-off his style.
the poster is one thing...
but the wall clock... i can't imagine hecox would be ok with that.

Imagine you being Hecox and them giving you a huge check and then imagine if you'd be alright with that.

(Jul 20 06, 11:35)ah common.. don't be a twat.
target is not going pay huge for some garbage poster, clock and note board.
+ it would be career suicide for hecox and the reputation he's built. galleries would dump him.
- REALLY_REAL0
Why would galleries dump him? Just because you're a pretentious designer doesn't mean other people don't want to see their fellow artists getting cash.

it's hecox for sure...has his signature and everything...Put out by the company Independent Studies.

there's a whole section of his stuff...from lamps to clocks.

well target has been marketing themselves as having better designed items... and always have designer series products.

(Jul 20 06, 11:47)alright then, i stand corrected.
i don't really know what Target is about these days, but for Hecox a kinda foolish move and a bit disappointing imho.

It actually is a new series. They started out with Michael Graves moved to Isaac Mizrahi and now they move to Hecox. They had a list of a bunch of new artist driven stuff they are releasing as well. Just trying to stay urban hip you know?

Man, these guys are morons. I wish they would starve so I could like their drawings.
