looks very nice – are you planning on printing it in 4 colors? If you simplify that wave bit on the back, it could print as 2/1 (as best I can tell from the lo-res comps)
watch the email line of typography, as a longer email address might hit the right edge of the card

i really like the bottom layout, but wouldn't mind it flipped horizontally.
try a laminate as far as stock, it's nice and smooth and has got a good weight to it. should work nicely with the wave element you are using.

I may be dense, but do you have a link to the the type laminate your talking about, all I can picture is my drivers license.

if you've ordered anything from ywft, the bcard they have is a laminate. it's much different from laminated drivers liscence. it's got a very smooth and substantial feel to it. call up a local printer and inquire.

it already looks dated, but ultimately there is nothing really 'wrong' with the layout...

Bottom layout is far nicer but as someone said try flipping the content. the left aligned text would sit alot better next to the vertical edge and not split the card in half.
The back is fine, not a big fan of the tag line though – Bit cheesy!
There's nout wrong with it at all just not very "Dynamic"

Printed on an uncoated stock 350gsm.
Then gloss UV varnish (one hit) on the back over one of the wave-like sections. Won’t have a glossy finish but will give it a glistening dreamy feel.OR
On coated stock 350gsm. Then gloss UV varnish as above. This will give it harder emphasis on the wave shape.

They look like they are for a dentists. Not very new, or 'dynamic'.
