Old G3 iMac + Ubuntu

    I have an old iMac G3 400MHZ gathering dust.. has anyone tried running ubuntu on one?

    I tried booting from the PPC ubuntu Live CD and it starts ok but then it gets to a blank black screen after a "startup sound" plays then it seems to go no further.
