For some reason, in the Opera browser, IFRAMEs are appearing as being layered on top of my DIVs, no matter what z-index I set my DIVs to. Any way to fix this?

the problem was something with the footer. clicking the tabs brought up divs that *should* be on a z-index that covers everything else on the site, except iframes don't play well with z-indexes and cover EVERYTHING. Don't know how to fix this.

ok i put it back online now. click on the tabs at the bottom. you'll see that the iframe of a project still overlaps the footer div, which is absolutely positioned and with a z-index of 1000, which shoulld make it appear on top. stupid opera!

nice work btw,
what font is that you used for the Esty id? I like the ligatures.

I would try to shy away from the iFrame.

dig the slideshow animations... did you code it yourself, or borrow some code?
mind tossing it my way?

@ornj
Yeah, I might try to get rid of the iframes in the future, but right now they're the only thing keeping the entire site and all of the projects from loading right away. Since they're each in an iframe, only the one project you request needs to load at a time.@Seanbot
It's a modified version of an open source slideshow script I found somewhere a few months ago, but I can't find the source anymore. If you want to try pulling it apart from my source code, you're welcome to try.;)

seems like it's just a quirk of opera and IE Mac: http://www.quirksmode.org/css/te…

Well, who uses IE for Mac anyway? Opera 9 fixed the problem, too. The nice thing about Opera is it would tell you when there's an updated version so hopefully most Opera users are on the latest version.
