So a client of mine wants a map of Europe in Powerpoint and he wants to be able to fill the countries with different colors.
Done or not done? Powerpoint's possibilities are like an empty black hole to me ..
Thanks so much.

I just did a few Powerpoints for a client. All the complex/illustrated items had to be made into jpegs and then imported into P'point. We actually drew a lot of maps for that job in Illustrator, then brought them into photoshop and saved them as web-ready jpegs.
There is absolutely no way to do what your client is asking, unless they have access to the software you used to create the maps.

Actually find a vector European map. Open in Illy and save as WMF. Import this WMF into your PPT. Then convert it to a Windows Drawing object (right click, select edit picture) Once this is done all of the fills and lines will be editable by double clicking on any given portion of the map. god I hate Powerpoint and the hoops they make you jump through.
best of luck on this one
