Thanks, mozilla, but I'll do as I please. :)

not for long

What evidence?
"Observations" made by religious scientists, published on religious websites? Designed for consumption by religious followers? That doesn't sound objective to me.
- flagellum0
Mimio: Nice try but it's the same evidence which old-earth geologists look at (and can't agree upon). It's a combination of interpreting the same evidence differently and presenting evidence which is ignored by the reigning paradigm. The same evidence which has been argued in mainstream journals over the years, but not under the "Young Earth" moniker.

I am uninterested in politely debating with people that aren't interested in actually solving problems.
- mrdobolina @ Newstoday (Aug 15 06, 09:32)I saved that quote bc it was one of the best things ever said in one of those long stupid threads that was either about politics or the environment..
It's like a boat is sinking and some guy is arguing about the probability whether or not they hit an iceburg..fuck that man stop the goddamn water from getting into the boat..
- PonyBoy0
good grief Mimio...
... where'd you get all the reference to Flagellum's sources so quick?
//that's amazing how quickly you looked up everything he's sharing his opinion on and even more amazing how you determined everything he is saying comes from 'religious' scientists...
... have you evolved beyond 'creation' in to a master of 'objectivity' as you call it?
- Mimio0
Pony,
He's been linking www.answersingenesis.org articles etc for years.
- flagellum0
hehe, Ponyboy... Mimio is intellectually dishonest because he will not take a look at the evidence presented by YEC's. We all know this. I continue to "debate" with him for the benefit of objective lurkers.
- flagellum0
Mimio: First, I've stated that I do not currently ascribe to the Young Earth model. I simply stated that I still find many of their arguments compelling.

I love when religious people call me "intellectually dishonest". I have a good laugh. Show me some evidence that's peer-reviewed outside the apologetic religious community that supports YEC.
If not for me, then do it for the lurkers who will benefit from the "truth".
- TheBlueOne0
I'm convinced Flaggellum is a Evangelical Turing machine of some kind let loose on the internet by Pat Robertson. Pat designed the Flaggellum 2000 inbetween leg press sets...

lol at blueOne.
- flagellum0
Mimio: this is the real world we're talking about - you're not going to find articles in mainstream journals which are explicitly pro_YEC. You will however, find a plethora of peer reviewed articles which present the evidence which supports a YEC position. You'll have to do some searching though.
- Mimio0
Link me one of the ...
"plethora of peer reviewed articles which present the evidence which supports a YEC position."
Just one... and not a link to an org website loaded with editorialized religious propaganda.
- Mimio0
I promise I'll look at it objectively. ;)

Mimio:
Dr. Russel Humphrey published a peer reviewed article on Helium evidence for a young earth.
http://www.trueorigin.org/henke_…Again, mainstream journals are not partial to a young earth interpretation.
- Mimio0
You just linked me an article refutting Humphreys findings/observations.
It was compelling though.
- Brookoioioi0
lol, you're arguments have been declining into gibberish ever since you're talkorigins usenet days... May as well be saying "Diddely Diddely Queep" in the last few hundred posts of yours. You know nothing of science, that you have made abundantly clear. Nothing but erroneous claims from the same handful of bogus partisan groups.
