While I believe Global Warming is real, I find it real hard to yell "GLOBAL WARMING" from my soapbox to the masses while the entire U.S. sans Southern Florida is freezing.

btw, there's plenty of evidence supporting widescale global warming in the past. Take a look at moraine evidence.
http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stat…It's the point at which glaciation stopped and retreated back to the north due to warmer temperatures. Much why you find giant boulders and till (unsorted glacial sediment) that are plucked out of an insitu rock formation and dumped hundreds of miles away.
cyclical, and according to scientists, it's been going on in the 'Cenozoic -> Quaternary -> Pleistocene' for some time now.

Look, sure, the globe has heated and cooled - maybe it's cyclical, maybe it's caused by other "natural" forces - the solar systems place in it's revolutions around the milky way, etc...
The point is that this current pattern is non-typical, and their is evidence direct and indirect pointing to the exact point that homo sapiens started pumping amounts of C)2 into the atmosphere, and those effects correllate over time..
And to say "The earth was warmer before" is all well and good, but see, that's a world where mammals (you know us) and our food webs didn't really you know thrive..kinda encouraged giant flesh eating land lizrds to dominate the place..
So stop it with the "teach the controversy" schtick..
