hyper individualistic?
I would say the profit margin of an oil company trumping the future of the planet being pretty individualistic, actually.

Hey flagellum, I'm wondering, since I have most of the sh*tslingers on ignore.
Has anyone responded to my Cretaceous CO2 level post, far above? Any clever retorts? I could have sworn that was a good point according to secular geologic dating. It's their own system that doesn't work for them.

Global warming my ass...
It's been sub-freezing temperatures in Kansas for the past week. High today, 26°F

why is exxon sponsoring anti-global warming think tanks?
Why did the tobacco industry do the same thing with anti-smoking cancer research?
Use your head, dumbfuck.

mpfree: The biggest concern is that people here won't even listen to opposing evidence or experts with a differing opinion. It's this kind of lack of objectivity which is highly disconcerting. If it conflicts with their party line or what their ideologues say, it won't even be considered.
No idea about your C02 level post, i missed that one. As for geologic dating, even old earth geologists can't agree on things and have radically differing interpretations of the evidence.

It's a wonderful thing that these three are holding hands.

lets all do our little part in making this earth a healthier place to live. I think its pretty clear that we are doing serious damage to our planet.

(Jan 17 07, 07:31)i dont mean to pick on anyone, but this is another thing i dont get.
99% of the species that have existed are gone.
see, mother earth will fuck you up...
we must adapt to survive.
(going the hawking route and gettin outta dodge anit a bad idea either)
- M0NEYCIDE0
yeah and we're talking about billions of years but over a few hundred no single species has cause so much irrevokable damage, oil spills, sewage, acid rain, chemical dumps, radioactivity, blah blah blah is not just natures way of doing away with another species of monkey
- lemmys_wart0
there's no evidence that nature has a "way".
it just is.

I just don't get how people can advicate pollution, because that is basically what they are doing.
