wow. i hated the guy, but never wished death upon him. seems like he got the easy way out. is it wrong for me to think like that?

To further this embryonic conspiracy theory, his sentencing was due around the time of the midterm elections. Maybe he wanted to talk? He is good buddies with key members of the Bush, Inc. Administration.
And by the way, this guy's jail was not going to be your avwerage jail. By our standards, it would be a resort.

That went through?! That means they used 'anti-Terror' legislation to extradite UK white collars who DIDN'T break any UK law!
5 years ago, there'd ben NO WAY they could be extradited..
..this is what happens when the laws that are drafted through in times of 'national crisis', without proper discussion and justification, are left in place.
