there's plenty of work over here. but also plenty of competition!

work is ok, but be prepared for the contrast in the standard of living. web experience is also a bonus

I do have web experience, I am currently Art director at http://www.fluoro.com.au/ I will be looking for interactive work specifically, but I do have print experience also

in which case, I'd target some companies first before booking your plane tickets. Not so many positions available at your level nowadays unless it's some non-design/commercial/retail company requiring a head for their in-house team.

theres usually plenty, but you will also need plenty of expeerience. any less than 2 years and your struggling to compete against graduates, juniors and interns galore.

ignore my last post in that case

I expect to work on contract and on tools for a few months at a time, mainly so I can take time off and trvel a bit, I expect it would be hard to land an AD role in london

bookmarked! half the web design industry in sydney is from the uk... I reckon a bit of uk experience can't hurt my career and i get to see a bit of the world while i'm at it!
