There is no way the Italians showed the Germans how to play football last night. Both teams played well. The Italians might have been a little more inventive in the final third but apart from that it was a very tight game and could have gone either way.
And props to the ref, players stop falling over once they realise that the ref will have none of it.

What difference does it make how germany got there? I was talking about the game I watched last night, without bias.
Great game, between two fairly evenly matched teams. Italy got the break, that is all that sperated them in the end, nobody dominated.

i'm very critical about italy's play, when they play shit i just say 'they play shit', in italy we are very critical about italian's football, but we scream of joy when they do play good, when they deserve it.,i watched all the world cup football matches so far, and the best football i've seen so far was france last saturday and italy last nite, there is not doubt about that...germany looked passionate until last nite, last nite they played like italy used to play, seat back, defense and wait for penalties...they wanted to go to penalties from the beginning of the game.

they arrived through penalties against the best team that was playing in the cup, Argentine they held them to a draw until they triumphed through penalties and some magnificent saves from lehman. To say Germany only got through on penalties belittles the fact they beat argentina.
