I just heard it's quite common to include a photo with your CV when looking for a job in Germany.
What about your country? Do people add photos? Is it required? How is it seen?

if asked why you don't look like them,
say "well i dressed it up to give it a broader audience and mass appeal. I thought that is what would be required of me at this job, i wanted to get an early start by showing my initiative

They'll see you when you first give them your application or have an interview anyway, right? Unless it's an online process.

I've never seen a resume from anyone in design or any related field that had a photo on it.
Nodody in North America ever asks for a CV either, as far as I know. just resumes.

I totally invented the 'category 1' bit, I dont really think they have pedo gradings, but wouldn't it be awesome if they did. It would make for a great TV chart show, with rundowns of the weeks most notorious pedophiles along with creepy videos and cliff richard/gary glitter songs.

Yep, usually in Germany you put a photo on your CV. I forget what other information is asked for but normally a lot more personal info is added compared to a UK or North American CV...

in NYC we slip a $50 under the resume and a picture of their kids and a bullet.
