one is left to wonder who the gremlin in the corporate circle is that is slowly persuading these people to tear down their history for a vector gleam across there logo
version4
(Jun 30 06, 08:15)One also wonders which version of Landor & Associates is partially to blame for said vectorial gleamery

What's the deal with all these massive corporations and their revamped but not rethought bedshitting logos?!? AT&T is another bungalow example.

why does everyone feel the need to go all beveled and bubly these days.
For once I blame apple and OSX, damn aqua.
How the hell do these logos hold up in black and white? I bet they all look shite.
Maybe they could have changed their logotype but don't screw with the 2 circles. Imagine if nike went all bevelled? It would look rubbish
In fact I made one to prove a point:

(Jun 29 06, 21:09)that doesn't make sense!!!
as for the logo, well what can one say?!

oh my
I've defended rebrands before, but this one is beyond me......
it doesn't work at a small size at all and won't reproduce in certain applications.it definitely will stand out against other logos, but only because of its sheer differentness and oddity. I'm not so sure that's a good thing in the case of a super-trusted credit card company.

Why do they do stuff like that? It was fine before and widely recognized. I have no idea what that is.
