freelance job on the side
2 web banners - Same look and feel for both based off existing print campaign.
One banner sized for "site A" and then resized for "site B"
All materials (imagery, fonts) were supplied on disk
Light animation of type (final file size of 20K) in Flash.
What would you charge based on the above specs?

At a guess, aroud 2 days work. that includes gif backup with the original built in flash. However, thats for production only, depending on how much creative you need to do, only you can judge how much time you need for that.

in the 4x everything world rand, yes, I'd say it was.

aye, put in some fat for sure to cover both overheads and also profit. 2 days is how long it would take to do in terms of production and you also have the creative which is a bit of an unknown on top of that too.

I'd say at least 100 Euros, but knowing the client dont't charge less than 200.
And yes, Rand that's may be 2 days work, especially when the client says: "make the logo Bigger, make it Flash and blink"

that is probably like what less than 10 hours work? couple hours to do some versions. wait for feedback. revisions couple hours. production 30 minutes a banner. changes etc.
$400-500.

sounds like cake work. you don't have to think you don't have to search for imagery or choose fonts. i'd say $300.
