about a year ago i was thrilled by a conversation among friends on how everyone either had their removed or was about to. i didn't know it was normal to pull them out, mine were always just fine.. i must be evolutionally retarded.
- Mimio0
..such is the wage of sin.

(Jun 29 06, 08:06)I think of myself as evolutionally advanced since I never had them.
My genes have adapted to the pointless need for them and didn't even bother wasting the energy to construct them.
Now ... if my genes would only let me hit puberty.
For some reason I don't think the next evolutionary stage is permanent pre-pubescence.
... Wait, I didn't mean to type that.

I rather liked getting them pulled. The nitrous was fun, I laughed for an hour after the surgery was done. Then I got to sit around drinking milkshakes and eating jello while out of my mind on painkillers. According to my friend I sent him an epic poem over instant messenger but he didn't save it.
- Jaline0
Haha, skelly, I completely agree!
I don't remember what happened from after I did the surgery to when I got home (I wasn't awake during the procedure). It didn't hurt at first but then as the drugs started to wear off it was killer, and I took painkillers for about 2.5 weeks for the pain. Worse was the throwing up dried blood, since I was apparently probably allergic to the antibiotics and so I stopped taking them after a week or so. My dad was the best though. He was on holidays for the March/Spring break so he made me every meal for like 2 weeks...
Fun times.

the only bad part was when the anesthesia wore off. i regained feeling in my whole face except for one spot on my mouth. it stayed numb for almost a whole day and i was convinced it would stay that way and i'd drool out my mouth for the rest of my life. but eventually it was fine.
- Jaline0
yeah, I agree about the numbness too.
- skelly0
you are very agreeable. :)

ya the surgery i had when i had the 1st 2 pulled was great fun, i went through a year of pain before i made the move to get them pulled if i would have known it was so fun + relatively painless i would have dont it sooner ,

I just found out an hour ago mine have to go.
BRING ON THE NITRUS BABY!!
They asked me if I'd like to go under and all that i could think about was the Adults only 'Sexy Dentist' that Seinfeld thought that he was getting molested by.
