first of all, you're not "uptight" for not wanting to go see tranny's. If that's not what you want to do, then so be it. That was just your friend putting up a defense mechanism because you laughed at the concept. I wouldn't go either... the thought doesn't cross my mind as slightly entertaining.
The hipster thing, well, that's just people trying to define themselves within a certain group. I agree with skelly, I hate suits too. My clique is the one that wears t-shirts and jeans.

Those meticulously contrived slackers have a spot in my heart.

(Jun 28 06, 10:09)Especialy when there's a Garfunkle perm to go with it. I like seeing their heads go up and down at concerts. That signifies that the band is rockin.

rasko that was brilliantly on the mark, in my opinion.
- Point50
Yes, I'd like to contract my previous post and ride on rasko's bandwagon for now.
- Jaline0
It's even better if you say rasko's posts with an accent...

we should pretend that a HUGE part of the 80's never happend like the fashion

I wear t-shirts and jeans too, but it's not because of comfort, it's by necessity. It's the same logic that requires me to eat top ramen 3 times a day. It's called being broke as fuck.

in my opinion, all the attempting-to-be-funny articles about hipsters are more annoying than the a whole army of the people they're making fun of. pretension comes in many fashions, not just trucker hats and white belts.

and to think everyone's becoming desensitized to everything in light of rasko's lecture.
shit's just gonna get louder.

having lived through the actual 80's i can attest to the silliness of this current fad. They were good times though.

I'm not the richest cat in the world either, but I wear t-shirts and jeans for comfort. button up shirts and khakis or dress pants are built for the average size man, which Im not. I get real tired of shit being tight around my shoulders, backs, and legs...and schlong...

i am an average size man.

I have small pink nuts, shaved, like smooth marbles.

I basically grew up in the 90s, but I love 80s music.
jeans + t-shirt = the best

Would a Fidel Castro type hat be construed as a Train Conductor hat? ... because I've been rocking the Castro for quite some time now, especially since I started letting my hair bang out.
... Also, I wear bandanas on occassion. Usually just tied around my wrist, or calf.
Because I'm in a gang though. Not because I'm a hipster.
Though it is hip to be in a gang.
Ya dig?

worthless
- Jaline0
don't you have blondish/redish hair, flavor?
- skelly0
i rock those castro/conducter/army/whatever hats because they're comfortable and don't have any sports teams on them. nothing against sports teams i just don't follow sports. plus the hats are like $5.
